Irina Pavlović
Irina (* in Beograd) started playing flute at the age of seven and began her musical
education in Praha/Czech Republic, where she has lived for two years. After she returned
to her hometown Beograd, Irina developed a great interest in music and continued further
education by playing both instruments. The piano soon became her primary focus and jazz
music her fascination.
She collaborated with the BluesTone Band, Frantissek Urlih and Joris Dudli. Irina's musical adventures have further seen her grace stages across Europe including Austria, Germany, Romania and Switzerland. As an artist, composer, arranger and educator, Irina is developing her own distinct style influenced and inspired by traditional jazz (swing, be-bop, hard-bop), blues. Irina wrote more than thirty compositions, and she is also a member of the Union of Composers AKM in Wien/Austria. |
