Casey Golden Casey is a pianist, organist, composer and improviser based in Sydney. Born into a musical family, he is the grandson of the renowned Australian jazz trumpeter Bob Barnard. He began studying classical piano at an early age and later completed a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance.   Casey has studied with leading Australian jazz pianists including Alister Spence and Matt McMahon, as well as with international musicians such as Gerald Clayton, Lage Lund and Aaron Parks. From 2010 to 2016 he led his own trio with bassist Bill Williams and drummer Ed Rodrigues, performing extensively in Australia.   His music encompasses contemporary jazz, improvisation, electronic music and other forms of original music. As a pianist and organist he has performed and recorded with a variety of Australian and international musicians. His albums as a leader include Miniature (2016), Atlas (2018), Smaller Worlds (2022), Orbits (2023), Present Day (2024) and The Struggle (2025).   Casey is also active as a composer and producer, including work in electronic and film music with his brother Beau Golden.   created by ChatGPT
