Carsten "Erobique" Meyer
Carsten (*1972 in Saerbeck) is a German musician, composer, and producer based in Hamburg. Carsten is best known for his work as a keyboardist and entertainer, both solo and as part of various groups. Between 1998 and 2010, he was a member of the funk/electro group International Pony, alongside Daniel Sommer and Stefan Kozalla, both members of Fischmob. Carsten frequently works as a composer for film and television productions, including "Der Tatortreiniger", "Stromberg", and "Fraktus".
In 2020, Carsten founded the Hamburg Spinners, together with Dennis Rux on guitar, David Nesselhaufon bass, and Lucas Kochbeck on drums. This band plays warm, instrumental songs with clear references to the organ-based funk of the late 1960s. partially from byte.fm |
