Henry Broadbent
Henry Broadbent (* 1975) is a multi-instrumentalist from London. Although currently known for his
keyboard work, he began life as a drummer and percussionist playing in the Victor Davis band and
The Profiles, amongst regular jazz work in the London area. In 2005 Henry and friends from the band
The Dirty Feel formed The Killermeters, a band that completely cemented his love of the Hammond organ.
Originally just a bit of fun, put together because of their mutual love of the legendary funk band The
Meters, The Killermeters have enjoyed considerable success due to their explosive live performances.
Early in 2006 Henry joined the British psychedelic rock band Kulashaker, finding a new creative direction
for his organ playing. A proficient vibraphonist, Henry also fronts his own band on this instrument,
who are in the process of recording their first album (March 2007).
