Joe Tatton
Joe has played for 10 years with the New Mastersounds having worked with them on several albums.
Touring primarily the U.S. on Hammond organ and pianos, he has joined them at venues like the Filmore
West, Tipitinas and House of Blues in New Orleans and Fuji Rock in Japan. Along the way Joe has played
full length sets with Maceo Parker, Fred Wesley, Art Neville, George Porter Jr and Zigaboo Modeliste
of the Meters and many other great funk and soul New Orleans musicians.
Joe also featured on Corinne Bailey Raes first album playing keyboards on the grammy nominated "Put your Records on". More recently alongside Leeds funksters "The Haggis Horns" Joe played keyboards and some guitar on their first two albums "Keep on Movin'" and "Hot Damn!" With his wife Aoife Joe has produced 3 albums under the name Rodina national Radio 2 airplay in the UK and been released in Japan on P-Vine records. The Joe Tatton piano trio release from ATA records in March 2016 featured the well-received Sunday Shade and Bang Bang Boogaloo. |
