小野みどり
(Midori Ono)
Midori was born in Shiga. She started to play the piano and the Yamaha Electone in her childhood. Later, at the age of eleven, Midori changed to the Hammond organ. Still at High School, she won the Hammond organ competition in Japan. During her stay at the college, Midori played the piano at the college's big band.

After finishing the college, she again played the Hammond and started a career as organ player, performing at jazz clubs in the Osaka aerea. In 1997, Midori was invited to join the B3 Organ Summit in San Francisco where she met Jimmy McGriff and Booker T. She toured around Japan and recorded her first album "Green's Blues". In 2000, she had the opportunity to play together with Jack McDuff and Lonnie Smith in Osaka.
