Teerapoj Plitakul
Born in Bangkok, Teerapoj got the Bachelor Degree in Music Education from Chulalongkorn University.
He also Studied at the Swiss Jazz School in Bern/Switzerland and at École de Jazz de
Lausanne/Switzerland. In 2002, he joined the Jazz Faculty of the College of Music/Mahidol University
as jazz piano instructor.
Teerapoj performed along and recorded sessions with Thai and International artists like Fabio Morgera, Tony Lakatos, Steve Cannon, Dianne Witherspoon, Magos Herrera, Grooverider, Ronny Williams, Longinue Parsons, Koh Mr.Saxman, Mr.Team, Keaw Carabao, Prai Pathomporn. He founded his own trio, the Teerapoj Plitakul Trio. Also, he performed at international festivals like Jarasum Jazz festival/Korea, JazzMandu 2012/Nepal, Beijing NineGates Jazz Festival/China, the Celebration Concert at Dhaka/Bangaladesh, Thai Festival in Kathmandu/Nepal, Thailand International Jazz Conference, HuaHin Jazz Festival, Bangkok Jazz Festival and Kuala Lumpur International Jazz Festival 2017/Malaysia. from jazzmandu.org |
