Loren Daniels Loren is a jazz pianist and vocalist, his professional experience spans over 25 years, performing with such notable musicians as Calvin Hill, Craig Harris, Milt Jackson, Rufus Reid and others. He currently performs with his own bands in the Greater NY area and in the Catskills.   Loren has written music for a variety of settings. Many of his original pieces are performed by the Loren Daniels Trio and The Reggie Pittman / Loren Daniels Quartet. He has composed several highly successful musicals for elementary school students. Loren collaborated with choreographers Joanne Koob and Susan Cherniak and composed new music for a series of modern dance performances. Loren has also composed, performed and recorded original soundtrack music which has been used on the Today Show and other NBC programs.   Loren has produced and recorded several full-length albums for various bands and artists, including The Reggie Pittman / Loren Daniels Quartet, Macy Chen, and The August Riska Trio. For over 30 years Loren taught choral music and music technology in the Teaneck, NJ public schools, in addition to private instruction in music. He is the music coordinator for Jazz Vespers at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Teaneck.
