Thomas Dawson
Thomas is a musician, a recording engineer, a producer and a composer. Early in his high school years, he could play piano, trumpet and bass. So he entered the Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, LA on a trumpet scholarship.
Nowadays, Thomas plays keyboards, co- produces and is the music director for the legendary Commodores. He has worked with music greats including Beyoncé and JLO. Thomas' experience and training as a musician combined with his knowledge of computer technology has made him one of the most sought after studio engineers in the business. Along with associate Jessie Pacheco, he owns and operates Mountain Nest Recording and Mastering Studios located in Colorado Springs. Thomas is the recipient of a BET Jazz Discovery award and a Gold Album for his work with Changing Faces. He is lecturer at the University of Colorado. partially from uccs.edu |
