He was also part of Wallace Roney's band, with whom two albums were created. He has also performed with musicians such as Esperanza Spalding, Terence Blanchard, Branford Marsalis, Nicholas Payton and Ralph Peterson. Under his own name he presented the albums Clockwork (2016) and Earthlings, the latter with Dezron Douglas, Eric McPherson and Tim Warfield. In the field of jazz he was involved in 17 recording sessions between 2008 and 2020, e.g. also with Holger Scheidt, John Petrucelli, Jazzmeia Horn, Nick Finzer, Bobby Watson and Jeremy Pelt (Griot: This Is Important!). In 2016, his album Clockwork (along with Ron Stabinsky's Free for One and Earprint) was voted Best Debut Album in the NPR Jazz Critics Poll. from Wikipedia |
