Matthew Iselin
Matthew (or Matt) is originally from Sydney/Australia, he moved to the
United States in 2016. He describes himself as Software Engineer, Coffee-Lover,
and Music-Maker.
Matt has been playing piano since he was tall enough to reach the keys. Since the mid-nineties, he's been performing and recording across the tri-state area with bands and musicians such as Afroskull, Wigjam, Alan Semerdjian, Mike Bloom, Outer Borough Brass Band, Sixty-Five, Adam Mugavero and Carol Thomas. He was also lucky enough to share the stage with Bob Weir and Phil Lesh at the New York Historical Society's fundraiser for the Grateful Dead Archive. His love for the Grateful Dead is evident in his playing, with a true admiration of the B-3 work of Brent Mydland. Matt is excited to be whole-stepping into the keys chair of Half-Step. |
