Ari Borger
Ari is a blues pianist and a Hammond B-3 organist. He is active sinde 1985 and was a pioneer in his instruments and continues to be the most important blues pianist and organist in Brazil. He opened shows for artists like B.B. King and played with true piano blues legends like Johnnie Johnson and Pinetop Perkins. He lived in New Orleans, where he recorded his first album and performed at the most renowned show houses such as Tipitina's and House of Blues. His albums have appeared in the TOP 10 of Real Blues Magazine.
He toured Europe with his group, playing at major jazz and blues festivals. Ari has been required in the most important festivals since 1995, in addition to participating in television and radio programs, such as Programa do Jô, Metrópolis, CBN and Band News.
Accompanied by national and international stars, such as Herbert Vianna, Rod Piazza, Jr. Watson, Linwood Slim, Mud Morganfield Jr. (son of Muddy Waters), Sax Gordon, Mitch Kaschmar, Sugaray Rayford and Diunna Greenleaf, the latest winners of the Grammy Music Awards. He has recorded seven albums over the course of more than twenty years of career, alternating between traditional blues, boogie woogie, soul and jazz, receiving praise from two most respected media vehicles in Brazil and abroad such as Caderno 2, Veja, Bravo, Rolling Stone, Real Blues and Blues Revue.
