Simone FalivaBorn in Camposampiero in 1978, Simone studied philosophy at the Universà di Padua. He studied also at the Conservatory “A. Steffani” in Castelfranco Veneto organ and organ composition with M° G. Libertucci, Choral and Orchestral Director with A. E. Cetrangolo, classic composition with M° C. Scannavini, electroacoustic composition with M° V. Murat, piano jazz and sound design with E. Montgomery at the Berkeley College of Music in Boston, USA.
Between 2003 and 2007, Simone played in Veneto Jazz Festival, Sofia Jazz Peak (Bulgaria), Pistoia Blues (Italy), Jazz Locarno (Switzerland), Distretto Jazz Bilbao (Spain), Atlantis Basler Jazz Woche (CH), Jazz in Raab (Austria), Summer Jazz Festival (Poland), San Sebastian Jazz Festival (Spain), Jazz Tempo di Rijeka (Croatia), 54th Newport Jazz Festival (Rhode Island), and from 2010: 1° WCF festival Whington (USA), EU-wide Festival Bristol (EN), RADICAL dB Festival Zaragoza (ES), Pierrot Lunaire Festival Vienna (A), Grand Théatre de Genève (CH), Circuit Bridges Festival New York (USA), composers’ Association of Serbia Belgrad, Opéra National de Paris (FR), SORKV Festival Mexico, ECTM Berlin Festival (D), Ars Electronica Festivals 2013 Sidney (AU), World Music Day 2012 Bruxelles (B) and others...

Simone has been Professor of Computer Music at the Conservatory “G. Verdi” in Como. Nowadays he is a Professor of Computer Music at the Conservatory “Cesare Pollini" in Padova. He is the president of the association Oscillazioni ONLUS and a provincial council member of AISM ONLUS.
