Vitalij Neugasimov
The pianist and organist Vitalij Neugasimov is mostly known in Lithuania as a classical music performer. Since 1985 he has been studying piano in B. Dvarionas special music school with A. Velička. In 1996, he was graduated from music school with honors, and in the same year entered the Lithuanian Music Academy. There he studied organ with Prof. L. Digrys, and piano with Doc. S. Okruško. Since 1999, Vitalij also works in Liepaites choral singing school accompanying and teaching piano, solfeggio and improvisation. In 2001, together with Liepaites choir, Vitalij took part in J. S. Bach music festival in Erfurt and Eisenach (Germany) as an organist. In 1999 he participated together with piano quartet in the Daniel seminar of "Daniël Muziekdagen" in Zeist (The Netherlands). In 2000, Vitalij Neugasimov took part in Atžalynas festival in Lithuanian Philharmony. In 2001, he performed in St. Christopher summer festival in Vilnius with the violinist Martynas Švegžda von Bekker. He also had concerts in Berlin (Germany) and Stockholm (Sweden) together with other performers.
 
At present his musical activities include singing in various choirs and vocal ensembles performing church music, solo organ playing, accompanying to well-known Lithuanian singers, choirs and instrumentalists. His compositions and free improvisations are based on classical traditons with the influence of sacred, folk, jazz and modern music.
