Romica Marin
Romica was born in Romania, his musical roots lie in his family: His mother was a well known singer
of folk songs and gave lessons of accordion. His father led his own orchstra. Tradition obliges, as
they say, and consequently Romica was introduced into the world of music aged seven. He started piano
lessons at the college for classical music in Constanṭa.
After successfully finishing his studies in 1972, Romica toured Germany with the Peter Marin sextet. Later, Romica worked as pianist in various hotel bars. After 15 years of touring, Romica at last settled in Switzerland to work for a renowned music school, which he took over in 2003. |
