Rob Burger
Rob is a well known accordion player, also as a member of the chamber jazz group Tin Hat Trio.
He studied classical piano at Juilliard, but soon his interest awoke for jazz improvisation.
Yusef Lateef, Archie Shep and Max Roach had a wide influence on his further studies in this
subject.
The accordion and the Hammond organ are his favourite instruments. Performing on accordion, he has toured North America and Europe with Bill Frisell, Don Byron and Joey Byron. He became a member of the Oranj Symphonette, and worked with the Old Joe Clarks. |
