Gene takes up his earlier successes with organ trios (-> Back On The Track, 1998).
New names appear on the cover: Billy James and Bob DeVos. Bob has worked together
with organ players like Charles Earland, Richard Holmes and Jimmy McGriff. Thus he
is very experienced in complementing the organ sound. And Billy is not really a new
name in the jazz scene: He has been the drummer for such greats like Gene Ammons,
Sonny Stitt or Houston Person.
Gene has formed a top-class trio which garantees top-class groovy jazz.
