Martin Kratochvíl
Martin was born in 1946 in Praha. In 1965, Martin founded his first amateur jazz group, the Jazz Q, a member of which was the well known flutist Jiři Stivin. But Jiři left the formation 1970, when Martin changed his musical orientation off free jazz to jazz rock. The styles of Chick Corea and John McLaughlin influenced Kratochvíl. Later in the 80's the rock elements predominated his music
