Frank Oidtmann
Born in 1969, Frank first studied music at the Würzburg conservatory with Egidius Doll, then at the Stuttgarter Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst with Ludger Lohmann, Bernhard Haas and Jon Laukvik. He participated in international master classes in Belgium, Italy and Switzerland. From 1993 until 2001 he was the church musician for the Haigstkirche in Stuttgart. He also played the harpsichord with the Staatsorchester Stuttgart, conducted the Junge Oper of the Staatstheater and has worked as the artistic director of the Rondo Vocale Stuttgart.
 
Frank Oidtmann gives numerous concerts on the harpsichord and organ, he runs choir projects and seminars on improvisation, psalm singing and liturgy. In 2002 he became regional cantor for Plochingen. In this function he introduced the concert series "Stunde der Kirchenmusik Plochingen", performed Bach's compositions for organ in their entirety over 16 soirees in 2003 and founded the Plochinger Kantorei, to name just a few of his activities.
