René Rooimans
René (*1967) was influenced very early by the music of Rhoda Scott and Jimmy Smith. He started playing the organ at the age of 8 and took organ lessons at the local School of Music in Rotterdam. Later he did a Master Class with Rhoda Scott in Paris. René played with great Dutch jazz musicians like Benjamin Herman, Dick de Graaf and Jesse van Ruller as well as with international jazz musicians like Rhoda Scott, Teddy Edwards and Ray Appleton.
