Sven Figee Sven (*1975), a.k.a. Sven Hammond, started in 1995 studying jazz piano at the conservatory in Rotterdam. He played funk and rock with various local bands. As a band member of Marcel de Groot, Sven toured the Dutch theaters and was involved with this group for two years.   In 1998 and 1999 he went out with Anouk. As a band member of the rock singer he toured Europe and America. Sven has performed at various festivals in the Netherlands and abroad. In 2000, Sven toured with Keith Caputo and performed at the Roskilde Festival in Denmark, among other places.   In 2008 Roland Dirkse and Sven opened the doors of their studio Marmalade Music in Delft. In that summer, Sven and his band Sven Hammond Soul finished the album The Apple Field, named after a place of fertility and creativity from a book about Kaballah. The keyboardist contributed to Hammond organ on Beatrice van der Poel's album Hard En Hoofd. Sven was involved as musician, co-composer and co-producer in 2010 on the album Funk On Me by trumpet player Rik Mol. At the talent show The Voice Of Holland on RTL 4, he was the right hand of jury member and coach Angela Groothuizen. The album The Apple Field by Sven Hammond Soul contains besides soul, jazz, pop and rhythm & blues also vocals. In July 2012, Sven was at the North Sea Jazz Festival with Sven Hammond Soul. The keyboardist produced Ben Saunders' album Heart & Soul and can also be heard on Hammond on that record.   from Wikipedia
