Jazz Workshop with Joey DeFrancesco in Italy
The organization "We love jazz", directed by Massimo Farao and Alberto Marsico, will hold a jazz workshop in Castagniole Piemonte/Italy from 23 june till 29 june 2008. The lecturers are: Jesse Davis and Plas Johnson (saxes), John Kinnison (trumpet), Joey DeFrancesco (organ), Paul Bollenback (guitar), George Cables (piano), Buster Williams (bass), Jimmy Cobb and Byron Landham (drums), Colleen McNabb (vocal), Benny Golson and Bobby Durham (music ensemble).

Altes Pfandhaus - a cultural centre in Köln/Germany
The cultural centre "Altes Pfandhaus", very much dedicated to jazz, turns two. In this short period, the centre gained a wide reputation for presenting outstanding artists. In the course of march 2008, even two concerts with jazz organists were offered: Barbara Dennerlein played solo, and three days later, Larry Goldings together with Kevin Hayes at the piano performed.
